Cushioned Pressure Points
The ACE Schakal socks feature extra cushioning made from Merino wool in the areas of the foot where blistering and chafing occur the most. Padding around the toes not only helps to keep them warm, but also minimize blistering. Further cushioning on the parts of the foot that move the most, on the bridge, ankles, heel and achilles help maintain comfort. Beneath the calf where the cuff of a boot would sit is another cushioning point which helps keep heat inside the boot and prevents chafing.
Versatile Fabric Blend
ACE Schakal tactical socks are made from a wide range of materials which enhance all of its special properties. 30% Merino wool provides the protective cushioning around the sock and helps to keep your feet warm. 30% Nylon strengthens the material blend and provides good resistance to abrasions and general wear and tear. Lastly, 20% Lycra elastane and 20% Lycra spandex provide flexibility and a secure fit.
Crew Length Cut
These mid-calf socks rise to just beneath the calf muscle and above the cuff of most boots. Moderate compression provided by the spandex and elastane gives them a firm fit that adheres to the shape of your foot. The nylon blend also gives them fast drying times.
